Season Of The Witch: Rituals & Routines for Change

Season Of The Witch: Rituals & Routines for Change

Bag lady -  I'm no longer running from circumstances that are uncomfortable because I know that avoidance doesn’t bring clarity. It creates anxiety that leads to further procrastination.

Your thought patterns and behaviors can follow you and unconsciously co create the reality you're choosing on a day to day basis. Which is why it’s important to know what internal messages and prompts you respond to.

A book I thoroughly enjoyed is called How To Do The Work by Dr. Nicole LePera and at first I thought it was another repetitive self help book that I would use as a distraction. But, this book actually got me looking at trauma in a new light, which allowed me to be honest about experiences that were less than pleasurable or supportive,  how it truly made me feel in that moment and its lasting impact on my psyche.

I crafted this oil because it reminds me of the 8 of Baskets card in the Black Tarot deck by Nyasha Williams, which always read to me like someone on the edge of making a decision that could change their live. The card was a call to the unknown and the lessons that come from choosing to embody the fool's energy to begin a new journey. It represents knowing you could sit and cry over the past, or move on without its weight.

Rituals To Practice:

  • Journaling to become aware of thought patterns that cause me to stay in the same space, repeating the same cycles over & over.
  • Allowing myself the pleasure to be in new situations, getting out of my comfort zone and creating new experiences that challenges the programming I  want to let go of.
  • Knowing it's a pleasure and a privilege to move onto new chapters of life without the weight of the past on your shoulders. You aren't leaving anyone behind by taking the necessary steps towards building a new life

Wild Woman - was a call from within. My inner witch is tired of whispering nudges in my ear and she wants to be center stage, this oil allows me to full her forward and integrate the information she has bestowed onto me.

Because this oil encourages integration, it’s best to journal and pay special attention to your thoughts, dreams and inner sense of knowing, to see what your unconscious mind already knows.

More often than not, our inner selves have already made the choice to change, our responsibility lies in ensuring our actions in the physical are in alignment with the information we received intuitively.

Look to yourself, without judgment and see what’s keeping you from this change.

Is it the fear of being perceived differently?

Scared that those you care for won’t accept this new wild version of you?

Are you afraid to let go of the life you carefully planned out for yourself?

What's keeping you afraid of fully embracing this new version of yourself?

The Wild Woman oil encourages discernment so you may know the voice of the witch that lies within and not get it confused with something that isn't an intuitive thought.

This calls for knowing your own spirit, your desires and what your intuition feels like in your body.

This is more often than not a solo journey, while getting to know yourself, you do not want outside opinions infiltrating your mind right now telling you who you are and what you’re capable of

 Rituals To Practice:

  • Allowing unconscious identity shifts to take over and making your daily choices align with what's leading you intuitively
  • Practice what's needed in order for you to feel safe being this new version of you for extended periods of time.
    • Say no to people and experiences that drain you and cut off people that don’t allow for growth in the relationship. You can't fully transform when people are constantly trying to coax you into staying the person they are used to being around
  • Pay attention to the ways you try to convince yourself to return to what's comfortable aka self sabotaging habits.

Vitality is here to encourage success and remind the user it’s okay to reach for the stars.

It's  a reminder that keeping your goals small so as to not rock the boat or outgrow your current community isn’t virtuous, it’s self sacrifice without any benefits.

Reminds you that self preservation isn’t selfish, it’s vital to your survival

Use this oil in both the planning stages and the actualization of the plan

Rituals To Practice:

  • Dare to dream big and get cocky and confident with your desires
  • Know that disciplined and focused action is better than trying to complete everything at once
    • If you are the type to want to master all trades instead of just one, this can be a bit tricky. I recommend blocking out a space in time to focus on your projects individually.

For example, let's say you're waiting to build a personal curriculum of learning runes, protection magic, herbalism and taking business courses. Instead of trying to focus on mastering all those things at once, focus on one skill for 90 days. This way you aren't shorting yourself of creative pursuits and you are giving those things your undivided attention without worrying about the other subjects you wish to enjoy. Something like this offers peace of mind because you know you'll get to your other projects in due time.
